Resilience Training

Would you like to manage stress better? In this 1/2 day interactive resilience workshop you will learn how you can build our toolkit for resilience. Resilience is the ability to bend and not break in the face of life's challenges, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before. This engaging resilience training workshop will provide you with the tools and skills to achieve this. 

Anyone interested in developing their resilience - From researchers to APs, through to series producers, execs and commissioners

By the end of the workshop you will have:

·  A better understanding of what stress and resilience are.

·  Learnt how to identify your own level of resilience.

·  Built a toolkit of skills to build your own resilience.

·  Created an action plan for managing stress and for building resilience going forwards.

Jude is a Mental Health Trainer who specialises in Mental Health First Aid and Resilience Training within the film and TV industry. She is an active volunteer for organisations such as Samaritans, Mental Health Mates and Studio Upstairs, supporting those who are going through challenging times. Alongside this she also has over a decades experience working in production roles both within broadcasters such as the BBC to Independents such as Locksmith Animation and TwoFour. This experience has been varied and has been across radio, TV and film, from live-action drama and factual through to animated series and features. Jude’s passion for training comes from the belief that the skills that are learned to support yourself and others effectively aren’t just skills for the workplace but are skills for life.

Do I need to bring anything to the course?It’s advisable to bring a pen and some notepaper. Otherwise, all you need is a receptive mind and your energy and enthusiasm.Is lunch provided?We keep you replenished with teas, coffee, biscuits and fruit. We don’t provide lunch – although there are a number of sandwich shops, cafes, restaurants close by, as well as a supermarket.What if I have to cancel?If you cancel more than 10 working days before the course date, you will get a full refund. If you cancel with less notice, or once the course has been confirmed the full course fees are still due. We will however endeavour to get you onto to a future course as and when we have a spare space. Although this cannot be guaranteed and will usually involve you being offered the place at short notice, we have a great track record of making sure people get their training – even it takes a bit of time.

Cancellations must be in writing and must be received at least 10 working days prior to the course date or the full fee will be charged. DV Talent reserves the right to cancel courses at any time (e.g. if there are insufficient enrolments) without liability, and delegates will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
